The JFS Care office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm. If you require assistance after 5 pm or over the weekend, a live operator will answer your call and connect you with our On-Call Home Care Manager.

Home care services allow older adults and disabled individuals to receive the care and attention they need in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes, as opposed to moving into an assisted living or nursing home facility. Receiving care in the home also allows individuals to rest and heal in comfort following a surgical procedure or hospital stay. At JFS Care, we design our in-home care plans with an eye toward helping our clients remain engaged and active.

JFS Care requires two years of prior caregiving experience, and each new personal care assistant must participate in training to meet requirements for new caregivers in the state of California. After that, all caregivers are required to complete an additional five hours of training per year. We actively encourage our caregivers to pursue as much training as they can by compensating them for approved additional training hours. We provide training through Nevvon, a leading online healthcare education company, and also offer in-person and virtual training throughout each calendar year. These training measures ensure that our care team is fully equipped to meet a wide range of needs and to provide the highest quality care.
All we require is a minimum of one hour of care for our home care and housekeeping services. We make every effort to accommodate your service needs.
We can arrange service as quickly as 24 hours in urgent situations, but it is preferable to first complete an in-person home assessment. We work with you to design your unique care plan and perform a safety inspection of your living accommodations so that we can make recommendations for making your home environment safer.
Our services are available throughout Los Angeles and its surrounding communities. We also serve clients in many of the beach cities up to Long Beach, and in parts of the Ventura Valley.
